A Message from our Chief
I would like to personally welcome you to the Three Rivers Fire Districts’ website. Three Rivers Fire District is made up of members who are on a Paid-Per Call status. Our members work full-time jobs elsewhere and respond to calls when they are available.
Three Rivers Fire District’s main coverage area is Keene Township, Millcreek Township and Tuscarawas Township in Coshocton County. We also respond mutual aid with the other Coshocton County Fire Departments. Our main coverage area is approximately 57 square miles in size which is mainly rural with some businesses. We operate out of 2 stations. The Main (North) Station is located on State Route 621 at the intersection of US Route 36. Our South Station is located on Cedar Street in Coshocton. Our mission is to provide you with professional, quick, and courteous service when needed.
I would like to advise everyone to please have at least one working smoke alarm on every level of their house. If you do not have a working smoke alarm, then contact your local fire department and they can probably give you one. Working smoke alarms increase your chances of survival by 50% at night while you are sleeping.
If you have any gas-powered appliances, natural gas or propane, you also need a working carbon monoxide alarm located in your house in a location where you can hear it alarm while you are sleeping. The members of Three Rivers Fire District and I would like to say “Thank You” to everyone who supports us in any way. This includes our residents trusting us with the tax dollars they pay for us to operate. The people who support us during any of our fundraising activities including our weekly bingo, dinners, annual car show, and any other fundraising activity we do. We could not do what we do without your support.
Please feel free to reach out and contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank You.
Chief Lynn Powelson Jr.
